Rope Class - Rope Tips & Tricks

During the pursuit of elevating our rope skills we tend to add all sorts of tools in our rope toolboxes. This class bundles those that @BoundBaby has adopted over the years. Spend the afternoon with her taking in these tips and tricks to hone your rope into a smoother, more informed practice. 

This class is intended to help beginner-intermediate rope tops refine their existing rope skills with small adjustments in their handling techniques. This class also serves as a tool to help expand both the top and bottom’s general rope knowledge. We will cover an array of topics within this over-arcing theme starting with the rope itself, simple components, and putting those together for upper and lower body tying. Don't underrate the step of untying too!

Prerequisites include: introductory rope knowledge including a single column and frictions, and rope safety. Please note: basic up-line knowledge is a plus, but only required if you intend on trying the ties taught in partials. 

What you should bring: minimum of seven (7) ropes (about 8 meters long), safety shears or a rope cutting tool, 4-5 carabiners rated for climbing (if up-lining).

This class is intended for tying pairs. Tickets are sold per person. We aim to give opportunities to everyone to have access to their community despite financial barriers and we recognize not everyone has the means to purchase a full price ticket for all events. Choose the ticket price that suits your preference! All tickets are for the entry to an event and you get no more or less for the price you choose.
