What does it mean to be treated like an object?

This workshop is explores the many reasons that people are drawn towards objectification, both as tops and as bottoms. Miss Red Rida will be facilitating with the assistance of her sub Sparrow Lark, offering expertise from both sides of the D/s dynamic.

We will discuss some of the different flavours and styles of objectification, and draw distinctions between objectification, degradation, and humiliation. There will be opportunity for discussion and questions, as well as interactive activities for those who are curious to experience objectification firsthand.

This class requires a partner to participate in the practical portion. Tickets are sold per person. Tickets are available on a sliding scale to promote inclusivity and accessibility. Please choose the ticket price that makes this event accessible to you. All ticket types provide the same access to the event.

This workshop is open to members only. If you don’t have your membership yet, you can sign up online or come by to see the space and sign up in person.  A temporary membership is also available for 24 hours for $10 at the door.

Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the class and doors will close 20 minutes after the start of class.

Miss Red Rida

Miss Red is a queer Dominatrix, and kink educator based in Montréal. She has been working as a kink provider since 2021 and began offering kink and consent workshops in 2024.  She enjoys indulging in the art of negotiation and co-creating ritualistic scenes and kinky dynamics that facilitate growth and change through somatic experiences. Miss Red delights in nerding out about communication and having long conversations that deepen mutual understandings of the self, desire, and relationships.
