Join us for Achillean After Dark, a play party celebrating queer masculinity and the roots that grow between those drawn to it.

Step into an intimate, affirming environment where masculinity is honoured in all its diverse forms. This evening welcomes that full spectrum. Follow the spark of attraction, this night is about making space for connection between those who resonate with these identities and desires. Let’s honour connection, queerness and the strength to be ourselves in a space that uplifts us all.

What does it mean for this event to be “masc”?

We’re highlighting people with identities and desires that embrace, experience or otherwise touch on masculinity. People who:

• Feel aligned with masculine aspects of their gender identity and/or expression: cis and trans men, masc-presenting, non-binary and gender-fluid, gender nonconforming, two-spirit…

• Experience attraction to or desire for other people with masculine identities and/or expressions: people who are gay, bisexual, pansexual, achillean, queer…

  
  

While we don’t operate on hard exclusions, we ask attendees to reflect honestly on whether this space is aligned with their identities and intentions. This night is about cultivating a space where those centered in gay masc experiences can feel fully seen, safe, and celebrated.

Atmosphere

Low lighting, warm textures, and relaxed lounge spaces create an environment that feels equal parts social club and play space. Comfortable, casual, and grounded.

Start the night meeting others who share a pull toward energy and attraction. Whether you're here to chat, flirt, or simply enjoy the company of people who understand the vibe, connection begins on your own terms.

As the evening unfolds, follow your curiosity. From conversation to chemistry to play, this space invites you to move at the pace that feels right and discover where connections might lead.

Our aim is to create an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and free to express themselves authentically. Our venue is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator available. A membership is required to attend our play parties. If you haven't secured your membership yet, be sure to do so before the event! You can sign up for your membership on our site here or can be purchased at the door.

Please note, our entry door will be locked after 11PM for the safety of our members and staff.

Tickets are available on a sliding scale to promote inclusivity and accessibility. We offer limited “supported” and “sustain” tickets at a lower price for community members who might otherwise be unable to attend. Please choose the ticket price that makes this event accessible to you. If you’d like to support event accessibility, consider purchasing a “generous” or “benevolent” ticket, which helps subsidize lower-price options. All ticket types provide the same access to the event.

A variety of snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be available all night to keep you refreshed and energized. Please note that bringing alcohol is not allowed.

Our dedicated Dungeon Monitors (DMs) will be present throughout the venue, attentively supervising the play areas and offering assistance to ensure everyone's safety.
