Prohibited/Restricted/Controlled Play

Prohibited: Not allowed at Probe under any circumstances

Restricted: There are rules in place to limit this type of activity to a location, time, or has specific requirements.

Controlled: It is required to obtain prior approval from Probe for these types of play. A request for permission must occur a minimum of 72 hours before the event and may be submitted to probeottawa@gmail.com. You will need to supply the following information:

• What equipment will you bring to promote the safety of those involved and of the space around you?

• What are the safe practices required for this type of play?

• What kind of experiences do you have with this type of play?

 

Prohibited

• Whips/floggers may not exceed 4ft measured handle to tip

• Scat play (involving fecal matter), including enemas

• Rainbow play (puke)

• Items that are or have the appearance of being illegal or exceedingly dangerous including, but not limited to

  • Bombs

  • Firearms

  • Tasers

  • Industrial Equipment (eg. chainsaw, blowtorch)

  • Knives greater than 12 inches

• Chemical play (such as use of topicals like tiger balm/icyhot/vicks on genitals)

• Waterboarding (water torture)

• Plaster casting

Restricted

• Asphyxiation 

  • Any restriction of a person's oxygen or blood flow must never be intended to induce loss of consciousness

• Piss play 

  • Permitted in shower areas only, cleaning the shower after use is mandatory

  • Permitted in diapers. Soiled diapers are to be taken off site by the attendee for disposal. Any leakage is to be cleaned immediately with cleaning products.

• Medical Play

  • Blood/Needles/Scarification

  • Medical Room only

  • Use drop sheet/absorbent pads and sharps containers

• Wax play 

  • Wax melters are permitted, no open flames/candles

  • Use a drop sheet and avoid moving away from your station, take care to clean up afterwards

• Squirting 

  • Use absorbent pads or towels provided

• Food play/messy play

  • Use a drop sheet and thoroughly clean up afterwards

• Kitchen

  • No play is permitted in the kitchen area

• Quiet Room/Aftercare room

  • No play is permitted in the aftercare room

Controlled

All “extreme” kinks must be reported to a Dungeon Monitor prior to play, but the following require special approval from Probe. 

• Fire Play

  • Limited to fire wands or gloves and fire cupping

• Chain suspension

• Kidnapping & takedowns

• Knife Play

  • If using a sharp knife
