About the event
The Rigging Hardpoints in Random Places class is a risk based approach to setting up hardpoints in various non-traditional locations.
The class covers risks, site & hardpoint evaluation, equipment and how to rig points in several situations - including where you might not be able to reach it. This class is rigger focused, no partner needed.
Prerequisites: Attendees must be familiar with upline management and basic suspensions. Hashira experience recommended but not required.
What to bring: Rope, including uplines (ideally synthetic). Carabiners, rigging straps, and rigging rings. If you don’t have all the equipment, there will be some available for your use during the exercises.
@Knotigan (he/him) started his journey in artistic Japanese bondage 5 years ago, and started performing in 2021 with a number of performances at NDC and Tension Montreal’s Soiree Shibari events. He works intensely with his partners to create performances combining both art and engineering into a dramatic rope suspension shows. Knotigan will be teaching specialized rope workshops at Probe.
