About the event
Probe @ The Farm
Gather & Grow
After an absolutely incredible inaugural year, Probe is leaving the city once again for our second annual countryside retreat! Come gather, connect, and play among the fields.
Pack your tent, your toy bag, and your curiosity. Hop on the Probe Bus and find us frolicking at an active produce farm for a weekend of wild discovery, hands-on learning, and a full day of joyful exploration.
By day, soak in the beauty of the countryside while exploring workshops and activities led by your favourite Probe facilitators, plus a few extra special guests. Enjoy farm-fresh veggies, delicious eats from the Arlington 5 food truck, cruise the vendor market, and breathe in that fresh country air. The farm will stay PG until evening, but don’t worry, things take a more adventurous turn after dark.
Join us around the campfire for our cigar social as the sun sets over the fields. Then, once darkness settles in, the dungeon opens for play. Borrowing some of our favourite equipment from the Probe dungeon, you can enjoy a night of play alongside an open sky filled with stars.
Once we’ve played long into the evening and the last ghost story fades into the night, campers can roll right into their tents. Wake up to fresh morning dew, roosters, and plenty of coffee before we pack down by noon on Sunday.
✨ What to Expect
Daytime workshops & even more activities (Digital sign ups for workshops will be open the week of the event)

Looking to be part of our volunteer crew for the weekend? We'll have shifts available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so let us know if you want to pitch in and get access to the event in exchange for some helping hands.
💡 Logistics to Know
Overnight Stay: Tent camping is available—bring your own gear (no RVs). There will be designated areas for pitching tents.
Bathrooms: Porta-potties will be on site, including a wheelchair-accessible unit.
Accessibility: The Farm is considered wheelchair accessible. Please note that travel throughout the event grounds is primarily on dirt roads, grass, and mulch.
Water and Electricity: There is no running water and electricity will not be available to attendees. Please bring drinking water (well water is provided on site) and charge your electronics before arriving. If you have any accessibility requirements, please reach out to us to discuss.
Pets: No pets are allowed in the camping or main event area, unless they are a service animal.
Campfires: There is a fire pit for gathering; no additional campfires will be permitted.
Cleaning Up: Please provide the same respect to the farm and those who work there as you would to those at Probe. Keep your areas tidy and dispose of garbage in available receptacles.
Privacy: This is an active produce farm and is open to the public on Saturdays until 5PM. We kindly ask that you remain mindful of this, and we will obscure views and cordon off the main event area as best we can for privacy. Additionally, the farmhouse is off limits, as is any neighbouring property.
Photography: Please obtain consent from everyone involved before taking photos. A professional event photographer will be on site and photo consent forms available at check in. We also ask that you do not tag Rideau Pine Farms in anything kink related.
Quiet time: Quiet time begins at 11PM; low music and play are welcome until 1AM.
Alcohol: As this is a commercial venue, the same rules apply here as at Probe: we do not hold a liquor license and BYOB is prohibited. Mocktails will be available for purchase and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided during the play party.
Want to camp, but don't have the gear? Check out local resources:
At Probe, inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. We welcome all individuals of all sexual orientations, genders, and identities. Our aim is to create an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and free to express themselves authentically. The farm is wheelchair accessible. Our goal is to provide an accessible, inclusive space. If you have any questions or have specific accommodation requests, please reach out to us.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale to promote inclusivity and accessibility. We offer limited “supported” and “sustain” tickets at a lower price for community members who might otherwise be unable to attend. Please choose the ticket price that makes this event accessible to you. If you’d like to support event accessibility, consider purchasing a “generous” or “benevolent” ticket, which helps subsidize lower-price options. All ticket types provide the same access to the event.
Our dedicated Dungeon Monitors (DMs) will be present, equipped with bug spray, attentively supervising the play areas and offering assistance to ensure everyone's safety.
