Discover and make art in a collaborative creative playground

This is a night for experimentation, collaboration, and kink-focused art making. Whether you're interested in practicing lighting techniques, exploring aesthetics, or simply seeing what a kinky photoshoot can look like behind the scenes, this studio night opens the doors to everyone with Probe as your unique backdrop.

You'll find a series of open photo stations, creative corners, and collaboration zones designed to help you build skills, meet partners, and bring your artistic ideas to life. Hosts will be available throughout the evening if you need help, ideas, or guidance.

Probe’s Kinky Open Photo Studio is a creative environment where attendees can:

• Model: Pose, perform, explore kink aesthetics, and create images that reflect your vision.

• Photograph: Practice your craft, test gear and lighting setups, and shoot in a variety of unique spaces.

• Art Direct: Bring concepts, moods, angles, and visual storytelling into the room.

• Support: Scene staging, safety spotters, cheerleaders, and general behind-the-scenes wizards are all welcome.

No experience needed.

Both floors will be open, with clearly marked zones to help the night flow smoothly:

Open Photo Stations

• 4th Floor and Frame

• Boudoir Room

• Dungeon Room

• Shower Room

• Jail Cell

• And more!

Attendees may use a station for up to one hour, unless no one is waiting.

Chill Zone (Kitchen)

• Tea, snacks, conversation, rest.

Equipment Checkout (4th Floor Cage)

• Remote shutters, phone stands, lights, cords, mats, furniture accessories, and more.

Quiet Room

• A non-photography space to decompress or step away.

Collaboration & Pre-Event Connections

To make it easier to find collaborators in advance, we encourage participants to post in the FetLife event comments with “looking for,” “open to,” or “seeking” notes. Planning ahead makes the night smoother and sparks stronger creative partnerships.

What to Bring

• Your lovely self

• Camera or phone (photographers)

• Outfits, makeup, props, inspiration images (models and art directors)

Probe will provide additional shutters, stands, extension cords, and all the usual furniture and fixtures.

Consent, Agreements, and Image Use

Just like at a practice or party, collaborators handle their own negotiations. Participants must receive explicit consent from everyone involved before taking or sharing any images. Hosts and support staff will be circulating to maintain safety and help navigate questions.

Tickets are sold per person. Tickets are available on a sliding scale to promote inclusivity and accessibility. Please choose the ticket price that makes this event accessible to you. All ticket types provide the same access to the event.

A Probe membership is required to attend this event. If you haven't secured your membership yet, be sure to do so before the event! You can sign up for your membership on our site here or at Probe. Temporary 24 hour memberships are also available for $10 and can only be purchased at the door.
