Howl at the Moon Pet Play Party

When the moon rises, we utter our wild, untamed howl! Join us for an official collaboration between Probe Ottawa and Capital Pups on October 19th for a pet play themed party.

Step into the moonlit wilderness for a primal affair, where creatures roam and passions flare beneath the glowing stars. Here, every shadow holds a secret, and every breeze stirs desire. Howl, growl, or prowl through the night as you indulge in your deepest fantasies.

Path on over to Probe for 6:00 PM to enjoy a casual social hang to get to know one another. Discover who's really got fur under the collar with an epic game of Ultimate Werewolf. As the moon rises and casts its silvery glow, unleash your inner creature and join us for a night of untamed energy. The main event begins at 8:00 PM, where you can let your wild side out and howl at the moon with us.

Please note: For the safety of our members and staff, the entry door will be locked after 12 AM (midnight). 

To help everyone navigate the night, we will be providing colour-coded wristbands to easily and clearly communicate whether or not you are open to different interactions with other party-goers. Green, yellow, and red colours will be available. 

• Green - Open to all pets and touches
• Yellow - Please ask for consent before touching
• Red - No touching please!

Regardless of wristband colour, make sure you have consent before engaging in any play. 

6:00PM-8:00PM - Wolf Den Hang Out

As you arrive at Probe, you'll be greeted by friendly faces from both Probe Ottawa and Capital Pups. The initial gathering is intended to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where our two communities can meet and get to know each other. Enjoy light refreshments and take the opportunity to introduce yourself, and ask questions to the Pups, while getting excited for the evenings paw-ty. Board games will be out and we're hoping to get a large group playing Ultimate Werewolf. 

Anonymous HIV testing on-site (finger-prick testing - or paw-prick?)

Setting up from 6:00PM to 8:00PM in the quiet room we are so happy to welcome Somesert West doing on site anonymous HIV testing!

Rapid and anonymous HIV testing will be available during the social hang out with harm reduction outreach from Somerset West CHC. Testing takes about 15 minutes and you'll get your results on the spot. This is a great way to stay on top of your HIV status - Convenient, casual, and judgement-free!

We use a finger prick method (no traditional blood draw required) and test anonymously, so you won't be asked for your name/ID/personal information to get tested. While you're here, we can refer to other sexual health resources in the area and chat about PrEP, HIV basics, harm reduction, and more! As the sun sets and twilight evelops the world in a hush, Probe transforms into a realm of enchantment. The glow of the moon creates an atmosphere ripe for a night of wild and magical revelry. Feel the energy shift as you and your fellow attendees prepare to unleash your inner creatures. 

With the moon rising high and casting its silvery glow, it's time to let loose and howl at the moon. Embrace spirited play that celebrates the wild and whimsical sides of your nature. Whether you're channeling the fierce howl of a wolf, the playful antics of a fox, or another nocturnal creature, this is your chance to frolic. Join us in this lunar celebration, and immerse yourself in the fantastic while forging new connections under the moon's enchanting gaze.

A membership is required to attend our play parties. If you haven't secured your membership yet, be sure to do so before the event! You can sign up for your membership on our site here or can be purchased at the door.

Tickets are limited to 50 attendees for this event and are on a sliding scale. We aim to give opportunities to everyone despite financial barriers. Choose the ticket price that suits your preference! All tickets are for the entry to an event and you get no more or less for the price you choose.

A variety of snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be available all night to keep you refreshed and energized. Please note that bringing alcohol is not allowed.

Our dedicated Dungeon Monitors (DMs) will be present throughout the venue, attentively supervising the play areas and offering assistance to ensure everyone's safety.
