Doing Our Homework: Vetting in Kink

A discussion on vetting new partners with a personal approach

“Vet potential play partners” is a phrase we hear often but it can bring up more questions than answers. What can you do as a bottom to find the right person? How can you get what you want most out of play? How can you keep yourself (as) safe (as possible)?

This lecture / discussion is meant to address some common tips when it comes to vetting new play partners and identifying potential red and green flags in them.

Time permitting, we will also take a dive into negotiating from the bottom and some important factors to consider when asking for or agreeing to play. There will be an opportunity for questions and conversations around vetting during the last half hour.

Tickets are sold per person. Tickets are available on a sliding scale to promote inclusivity and accessibility. Please choose the ticket price that makes this event accessible to you. All ticket types provide the same access to the event.

This workshop does not require a membership.

Please note doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the class and doors will close 20 minutes after the start of class.
