Creatures of the Forest Play Party

When the sun goes down the creatures come out to play! Join us for the first official collaboration between Probe Ottawa and Capital Pups on July 27th.

Venture deep into the forest's embrace for a wild affair, where creatures play and passions ignite under the moonlit canopy. Where every shadow whispers secrets and every rustle ignites desire. Chirp, bark or roar through the night as you engage in your deepest fantasies. 

Prowl on over to Probe on July 27th for 6:00 PM to enjoy a more casual social hang out as our first part of the evening's festivities. Then, as the sun dips down behind the horizon, let your inner creature come out to howl at the moon with us. The play party starts at 8PM. **Please note, our entry door will now be locked after 12AM (midnight) for the safety of our members and staff.

We will be providing colour-coded wristbands to easily and clearly communicate whether or not you are open to different interactions with other party-goers. 

6:00PM-8:00PM - Playful Hang Out

As you arrive at Probe, you'll be greeted by friendly faces from both Probe Ottawa and Capital Pups. The initial gathering is intended to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where our two communities can meet and get to know each other. Enjoy light refreshments and take the opportunity to introduce yourself, and ask questions to the Pups, while getting excited for the evenings paw-ty. During the hang out, we're excited to announce that Somerset West will be set up in the quiet room offering anonymous testing!

Anonymous HIV testing on-site (finger-prick testing - or paw-prick?)

Setting up from 6:00PM to 8:00PM in the quiet room we are so happy to welcome Somesert West doing on site anonymous HIV testing!

Rapid and anonymous HIV testing will be available during the social hang out with harm reduction outreach from Somerset West CHC. Testing takes about 15 minutes and you'll get your results on the spot. This is a great way to stay on top of your HIV status - Convenient, casual, and judgement-free!

We use a finger prick method (no traditional blood draw required) and test anonymously, so you won't be asked for your name/ID/personal information to get tested. While you're here, we can refer to other sexual health resources in the area and chat about PrEP, HIV basics, harm reduction, and more! As the sun sets and twilight envelops the forest, the atmosphere at Probe transforms. Soft, enchanting lights and trailing ivy set the stage for a night of magical and untamed revelry. Feel the energy shift as you and your fellow attendees prepare to unleash your inner creatures.

With the moon rising high, it's time to let loose. Engage in spirited play that celebrate the wild and whimsical sides of your personalities. Whether you’re embodying a playful pup, a majestic wolf, or another creature of the night, this is your moment to shine. Howl at the moon with us all, and immerse yourself in the fantastical ambiance and embrace newfound connection.

A membership is required to attend our play parties. If you haven't secured your membership yet, be sure to do so before the event! You can sign up for your membership on our site here. Tickets are limited to 50 attendees for this event and are on a sliding scale. We aim to give opportunities to everyone to have access to their community despite financial barriers and we recognize not everyone has the means to purchase a full price ticket for all events. Choose the ticket price that suits your preference! All tickets are for the entry to an event and you get no more or less for the price you choose.

A selection of treats and non-alcoholic refreshments will be available throughout the night, ensuring you can stay energized and hydrated. Please note that while we strive to provide a variety of options to suit different dietary needs, we encourage attendees to bring any specific snacks they may require. Bringing your own alcohol into the space is strictly prohibited.

Our trained Dungeon Monitors (DMs) will be stationed throughout the venue, diligently overseeing the play areas and providing assistance as needed to ensure a safer environment for all attendees.
