Navigating Dual Identities: Being Kinky in a Vanilla World

Living with more than one side of yourself—especially when one part isn’t always understood by the outside world—can feel both powerful and a little tricky at times.

This workshop offers a welcoming space for folks in the kink community to creatively explore and express those layered experiences through the playful and reflective process of mask-making. Together, we’ll reflect on the different roles we play in our personal, professional, and kink lives.

Through guided discussion and artmaking, we'll consider questions like: What parts of myself do I reveal? What do I keep hidden for safety or acceptance? How do I navigate the tension between authenticity and discretion? Participants will create masks that symbolize the selves they show to the world, the parts they conceal, and the strength it takes to move between them.

No artistic experience required—just a willingness to explore! This workshop offers a supportive, non-judgmental space for self-discovery, connection, and empowerment. Come as you are, and create alongside others who understand the complexities of being kinky in a vanilla world.
