Probe House Rules
-
Respect Among Members: No harassment, bullying, discriminatory or hate speech, and notably, no racism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, ableism, or sexism will be tolerated.
-
Consent: Consent is the foundation of all interactions. Always obtain clear, explicit and informed consent before engaging in any activity with another member. Consent is a mutual, voluntary agreement that involves clear communication, understanding, and respect for each participant's boundaries. Consent extends beyond just play and applies to all interactions within Probe. This includes but is not limited to touching other members or their belongings, Any participant has the right to withdraw consent at any time.
-
Privacy: Privacy is paramount. Disclosing or sharing personal information about fellow club members, including their attendance at an event is strictly prohibited. Respect the privacy and anonymity of others at all times.

-
Photo/video consent: Seek consent from all parties in a photo/video before capturing any images. Sharing or posting photos/videos without consent of those in it is strictly prohibited. Taking photos within the club premises during an event requires permission from a dungeon monitor as well as the explicit consent of all individuals involved.
-
Cleanliness: Please ensure that all play areas and equipment are left in a clean and presentable condition after use. Each member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene during their activities. Please change your bed sheets after use with provided linens. Cleaning supplies are available for you throughout the space for you to wipe down and disinfect your play station.
-
Dungeon Monitors: Dungeon Monitors may interrupt any scene if they have concerns about safety or consent. Probe’s Dungeon Monitors promote the safety and well-being of all attendees by monitoring participant activities and intervening when necessary.
-
If you plan to engage in a scene or in play that may be interpreted by others as extreme or harmful (e.g. heavy role play, consensual non consent, humiliation), please speak with a Dungeon Monitor beforehand to prevent unnecessary interruptions.
-
Do not interrupt a scene yourself. If you have a concern please locate a Dungeon Monitor and communicate your concern to them.
-
You can identify a Dungeon Monitor by their neon green lanyards & badge.
-
-
Safe words: You must use safe words during scenes at Probe. Safe words must be respected and honoured when used by anyone involved in a scene at any time. “Yellow” and “Red” are the default safe words for use within your scene at Probe.
-
“Yellow” indicates a need to slow down, check in, or modify the intensity of the scene.
-
“Red” signals a complete stop of activities. If “Red” is called, a Dungeon Monitor will become involved.
-
If you intend on using any safe words that are not “Yellow” and “Red”, please advise the Dungeon Monitor prior to beginning your scene. For a participant unable to verbalize during a scene (eg. if they are gagged or are not permitted to speak), please prearrange a non-verbal cue and advise your Dungeon Monitor.
-
-
Smoking: No smoking or vaping on our premises. All smoking and vaping activities must take place outside and at least 6 meters away from any doorways, open windows, or air intakes that are connected to common areas, according to Ontario guidelines.
-
We reserve the right to expel any person in a condition deemed to be dangerous or who is exhibiting unsafe or disturbing behaviour.
